Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how NF//FA handles information when you visit notfinancialfinancialadvice.com or use its public-beta tools. It does not cover third-party websites linked from the site.
Information processed
Information you enter
Options Lab may process stock symbols and filter settings you submit to run a scan. In the current beta, those inputs are used to return results and are not intended to identify you. Do not enter personal, financial-account, or brokerage information into scanner fields.
Technical and usage information
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process IP address, browser and device details, request time, referring page, pages requested, error information, and security signals. This information supports delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Information we do not request
The current public beta does not ask for brokerage usernames or passwords, bank details, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, precise financial profiles, or access to trading accounts.
How information is used
- Provide pages and scanner results you request.
- Maintain reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
- Diagnose errors and understand aggregate feature performance.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce site terms.
We do not use scanner entries to execute trades or access a brokerage account.
Cookies and local storage
The site or its infrastructure may use essential cookies or similar storage for security, access control, and basic functionality. We will update this policy and provide any legally required choices before adding nonessential advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
Service providers
We may use providers for hosting, content delivery, security, and market data. These providers process information under their own terms and, where applicable, on our behalf. Current core providers include Vercel for hosting and Tradier for market data. Cloudflare manages domain and DNS services. The scanner sends market-data requests from the server and does not send visitors' brokerage credentials because it does not collect them.
Disclosure of information
We may disclose limited information to service providers supporting the purposes above; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, security, and the service; or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of the project. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We intend to retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including security logs and legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited data processed.
Your choices
You can limit cookies through browser controls and avoid submitting optional information. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain processing. A verified request process and dedicated privacy contact will be added before the site begins collecting account, newsletter, payment, or other directly identifying information.
Children
NF//FA is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date will identify the current version. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, we will provide notice and seek consent when required.
Contact
The operator's legal name, mailing address, and dedicated privacy contact must be inserted before broader public data collection or commercial launch. Until then, do not submit sensitive personal information through the site.
