About LAGUNA-8453, the Venice VVV tide monitor

A live, full-screen console for VVV, the Venice token on Base. It tracks trades in the main VVV/WETH pool alongside staking, DIEM, buy-and-burn and emissions, then works out how much of the new supply the burns are offsetting. Not affiliated with Venice.

What it shows

  • Price and trades: spot VVV price and every trade in the main Aerodrome VVV/WETH pool, with buy and sell volume.
  • Staking: share of circulating VVV staked as sVVV, the part locked to mint DIEM, staker APR, and VVV in the 7-day unstaking cooldown.
  • Supply: total, circulating and burned VVV, annual emissions and the daily vesting unlock.
  • Buy-and-burn: progress of the current monthly cycle, its projected size and the last six burns.
  • DIEM: price, supply against the 40,000 cap, mint cost and how much of staked DIEM is being used for inference.

How to read the screen

  • The lagoon is the trading pool. Each real trade lands as a ripple: teal for buys, coral for sells, larger for bigger trades. Trades over $1,000 show their size. Each trade leaves a faint mark that fades over five minutes, so quiet stretches still show recent activity.
  • The reservoir ring fills to the share of circulating VVV that is staked. Its brass section is the part locked for DIEM; the small coral wedge is VVV in cooldown.
  • The thin outer ring tracks the current buy-and-burn cycle, with a tick for each day.
  • The rising embers are paced to the real 24-hour count of programmatic burns. They are not individual burn events.
  • The tide gauge at the bottom is 72 hours of hourly closing price, with pool volume as bars.

How the numbers are calculated

Annual burn spend = the last 30 days of discretionary, Pro subscription and credit burn spending × 365 ÷ 30.

VVV burned per year = annual burn spend ÷ VVV price.

Net new supply = annual emissions − VVV burned per year. Burn coverage = VVV burned per year ÷ annual emissions.

DIEM mint cost = sVVV required per DIEM × VVV price. Market vs mint = DIEM price ÷ mint cost.

These are simple projections from the latest 30 days at today's price, not forecasts.

How fresh is the data?

Trades refresh every 15 seconds, price every 20 seconds, protocol stats every minute and the 72-hour chart every 10 minutes. Ripples run about 15 seconds behind the chain so they can be replayed at their real spacing. The header pill reads LIVE, STALE after two minutes without an update, or SNAPSHOT before the live feed loads.

Figures can differ slightly from venice.ai and other dashboards because each source defines circulating supply and staking a little differently. More live consoles are on the Consoles page.
